EMT110 Special Populations
Topics include advanced patient assessment techniques, caring for patients with special challenges, neonatal and pediatric emergencies, abuse and assault, geriatric emergencies and the chronic care patient. Emphasis is placed on the EMT-P working as a team member, and identifying the limitations of paramedicine in the emergency medical setting. (3 credits; 2 lecture hours, 3 laboratory hours)
