RSC200 Diagnostics in Respiratory Medicine

This course focuses on the role of the respiratory therapist in the diagnostic laboratory. Principles and techniques of tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary function are presented, with an emphasis on the evaluation of the test results within the context of patient assessment and development of the care plan. The principles of sleep technology are introduced, including patient assessment and treatment of sleep disorders.
