Proficiency requirements can be met through Accuplacer Placements, Waivers, or successfully completion of appropriate level course work.

Proficiency is met by any one of the following:

Reading Proficiency
|
- RE50 College Reading Skills or higher
- RE99 Reading Waiver
- Course REA020 or REA021 with a grade of C or better
- 6 credits with Course Attribute READ and with a grade of C or better

Writing Proficiency
|
- WR50 English Composition I
- WR99 Writing Waiver
- Course WRT010 with a grade of C or better
- Transfer course with Subject ENG

|
Foundations of Math Proficiency
|
- MA30 Foundations of Algebra or higher
- MA99 Math Waiver
- Course MAT010 or higher with a grade of C or better
