EMS106 Medical Emergencies

Topics include advanced patient assessment techniques; establishing and maintaining an airway, caring for the emotionally disturbed patient, obstetrical and gynecological emergencies, and pediatric medical emergencies. Emphasis is placed on the EMT-P working as a team member and identifying the limitations of paramedicine in the emergency medical setting.
