CLS213 Medical Laboratory Technology Clinical Experience

Students complete clinical experience in a laboratory under the supervision of a qualified medical technologist, medical laboratory technician, or pathologist. The clinical experience includes rotations in the following laboratory departments: hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, microbiology, and phlebotomy. Students have the opportunity to apply theory while performing manual, semi-automated, and automated testing.
