NUR110 Nursing I

An introductory course which focuses on the foundational skills and principles needed to provide safe, holistic patient-centered care in basic nursing situations. Students will explore methods of optimal health promotion and disease prevention. Content includes nursing process, therapeutic interventions, culturally sensitive care, and the role of the associate degree nurse in a variety of healthcare settings.
