LIT275 International Experience in Literature

This course will examine the works of major authors from an area outside the United States. (Areas may include Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Oceania, Canada, the Caribbean, or Europe and will be announced in advance.) The course will consider the literary, cultural and historical significance of the literary destination. The course culminates in a writing project which integrates the literature and the literary geographies of the locale studied following a short-term study abroad trip. Students must have an overall GPA of 2.5
