EDU204 Capstone

The culminating course for students in the Educational Studies Program. This will be a hybrid course that will offer students’ experiences in the classroom working with children in diverse settings. Students will be required to demonstrate the theoretical knowledge, skills, and identified learning outcomes as a culminating experience of the course work. 

The course provides students with authentic experiences and opportunities to demonstrate specific indicators that align with the identified Professional Standards for Teachers (PSTs). The course requires 15 hour Field Based Observation practicum. CORI/SORI/CHRI: Students interested in participating in this academic program may be required to undergo a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check, a Criminal Records Central Repository (CHRI) check, and /or a Sex Offender Record Information (SORI) check. Prerequisite courses - EDU 101, EDU 102, EDU 202 and EDU 203 with a minimum grade of C or better.
