PED170 Teaching Sports Skills
This course will provide current fundamental knowledge about teaching skills in a broad spectrum of physical activities. Students will learn the historical perspective of a variety of team, dual and individual sports. Information about the selection and care of required equipment, rules, fundamental skills, strategies, safety concerns, and terminology will be covered. Students will participate, teach, lead and officiate a variety of activities. Students will also have the opportunity to design content and implement and evaluate a learning experience.
