SPN111 Elementary Spanish Language and Culture I

The first level is designed exclusively for students without prior knowledge of Spanish. Students will develop and practice oral (speaking and listening), literacy (reading and writing), and viewing skills in the language. Culture constitutes the foremost component of today’s language classroom setting, which students will learn through in-class activities, by perusing the internet, and by reading and viewing selected excerpts about Spanish-speaking countries, society, norms, and values. The class will be conducted in Spanish.
