DHH016 English Structure I

This course is designed for deaf and hard of hearing students to develop competency in using correct grammatical English structure in their writing. Topics covered include parts of speech, basic verb tenses, question formation, simple and compound sentences, and sentence mechanics.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is a developmental course and DOES NOT carry graduation credit. It is NOT usually transferable. Since developmental courses are mandated courses, students who do not meet the exit criteria of C or better for English Structure I will be required to repeat the course.
