DAN202 Dance Repertory

Dance Repertory focuses on dance rehearsal and choreography. Advanced techniques of ballet, modern and/or jazz will be studied. Students will continue application of dance technique through more advanced choreography. The general principles of dance technique requires turn-out, proper alignment, weight distribution, stance, transfer of weight, squareness, pull-up or lift, counter-pull, counter balance, aplomb and balance. See Dance Coordinator if you have physical limitations that may prevent you from completing these activities. Students may also get the permission of the instructor to take this course.
