SUR107 Surgical Technology III

The student will apply principles learned in the classroom at the clinical site under direct supervision. Student assignments will be under the direction of the college clinical coordinator and the clinical instructor. Students are required to perform supervised clinical activity for a total of 32 hours per week. Students are required to completer 120 surgical procedures and a minimum of 500 hours. Students must complete clinical assignments as required for graduation and to be able to sit for the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification exam.
