CLS107 Fundamentals of Molecular Diagnostics

This course introduces the fundamentals of molecular diagnostic testing in the medical laboratory, including basic DNA and RNA structure, PCR, RT-PCR, Southern blotting, and electrophoresis. This course covers the application of molecular diagnostic techniques in the identification and diagnosis of genetic diseases and diseases caused by microorganisms.
