EST150 Machine Application

This course provides an introduction to a wide variety of processes associated to the machining industry. Topics include safety, process-specific machining equipment, measurement devices, set-up and layout of instruments, holding fixtures, tooling, cutting speeds and depths, metal properties and proper finishes and common machine shop practices. This course is offered off campus at a technical high school.
