PED212 Exercise for Special Populations

Students will discover the benefits of exercise for special populations. Students will review the pathology and pathophysiology of numerous conditions and disorders. Exercise recommendations for specific conditions are presented as well as training modifications, precautions, and contraindications. Commonly prescribed medications and their potential effects on exercise responses and adaptations will be examined.
