ART214 Figure Drawing
Figure Drawing I offers the student the opportunity to draw from a live model. Class sessions will explore different approaches to figure drawing, covering a variety of techniques and concepts (gesture drawing, contour line drawing, form, light and shade, movement, etc.). Students will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of materials, and to enlarge the scale of their work as the semester progresses.
