GEO101 Introduction to Geography

This course is a survey of the earth's political, social, cultural, and economic patterns and their relationship to the earth's physical features. The course will stress the location of nations and cities, rivers and seas, and it will examine the history and current political situation of each major area of the world. It will also discuss the exploitation of earth's resources with a view toward maintenance and restoration.
