GOV110 Introduction to American Law

This course is a survey of the structure, functions, and development of the American legal and judicial process with emphasis on legal concepts and terminology. Judicial cases in substantive areas, such as family law, contracts, torts, and property will be analyzed. Students will also be introduced to judicial case briefs and brief writing.
