HES209 Advanced Cardiac Life Support

This course uses a problem-oriented, scenario-based educational approach to provide information on airway management and intubation, IV therapy, defibrillation/cardioversion, drug therapy protocols (algorithms) and legal considerations. Upon successful completion of this course, participants are eligible for the American Heart Association ACLS card. Enrollment in this course requires one to be a Health care provider or second year health professions student with a current Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
