LIT224 Modern European Literature

This course focuses on the individual's existential response to the human condition as seen in the works assigned and includes the treatment of literary movements represented by these works (including existentialism, neo-romanticism, symbolism, expressionism, and impressionism). Works will be chosen from European authors writing during the Modern Period.
