HON105 Honors Colloquium: Blueprint for a Sustainable Life

This interdisciplinary course will introduce honors students to a single broad topic that will be studied from a variety of perspectives. Emphasis will be placed on integration of material, critical thinking, cooperative learning, and independent research. Students enrolled in this course must have a GPS of 3.3 or higher. Spring 2014-- This course will create a working model for sustainability that is used to develop a map for how to live a sustainable life. Ideas for sustainable living will be coupled with analysis of the green washed market, energy systems, and resource management. Students will be able to identify global sustainability priorities and know how to take action.
