SCI106 Biotechnology

This course aids in the development of laboratory techniques that would be needed to work in the biotechnology field. Provides a broad introduction to biotechnology including the scientific basis of the technologies used in the industry. Introduces modern molecular biology techniques including, but not limited to, nucleic acid purification and analysis, transformation, polymerase chain reaction, SDS-PAGE, and other molecular research techniques.
